This Diva believes in a little diversity! Shannon has always enjoyed the spotlight from and began performing at the age of 15 as a Cheerleader in Corona, California. It didn't take long for her to start participating in talent shows and beauty pageants.
Completing school, Shannon entered the cosmetics field, and gained the spotlight in a different way, this time becoming one of Estee Lauder's top retail managers.
Throughly enjoying the cosmetics field, Shannon has become a licensed esthetician and is developing her own skin-care line, under the name "Shandar", a combination of her first and middle (Darlene) names. Almost a year after choosing the name a fan from India informed her that Shandar means "luminous beauty" in Hindu. Obviously the name is fitting here. Shannon is a huge collector of celebrity memorbilia, and currently writes a column about it in Pop Culture Collecting. She also wrote a feature article on the subject for Millionare magazine.
Having quite a presence on the Internet, Shannon has a popular website Planet Shandar, which has everything from romance tips to games to updates on her career, with some tons of awesome photos. She's also an editor for the online newsletter Brief Me as well as a contributer and cover model for Women Of Desire.
