This Diva was always destined to be red hot! Being born a Scorpio, the zodiac sign for sex, almost assured it!
So what was it that guided Suzi toward her destiny? Actually it wasn't a "what" so much as a "who". It was none other than her father! Deciding that Suzi needed to have a direction in life, he entered her in the Miss DC Teen USA Pageant. Much to her surprise (but not ours) Suzi emerged victorious. Carrying her newly acquired honors, Suzi suddenly became very popular. But she would then learn one of life's old lessons in that true friendship means more than popularity does.
Suzi's high school beau went to VMI and Suzi took home another title, becoming their homecoming queen. Unfortunately, ego was taking over somewhat. Suzi began modeling, and scored her first big job, that being a Pepsi commecial with Michael Jackson. Next came an ad for Joico perms. Ironically enough, Suzi always had a hard time holding her to perm! Following that were ads for Ultima II make-up, Woodward and Lothrop Department Stores. These and other small jobs helped Suzi finishing paying off college. Upon graduation, Suzi headed back to Malibu, and did a lot of swimwear and calendar assignments. Things took a sour turn however as a non-reputable casting director almost raped her. This was enough to make Suzi give up modeling.
This story does have a happy ending, though. One day , Suzi ran into Playboy photographer David Mecey at a photo lab. Intially Suzi didn't think they would be interested, figuring she'd be expected to sit around the PB mansion, chasing Hugh Hefner & co. David told Suzi it wouldn't be like that at all and she wouldn't have to do anything that she wasn't comfortable with. With that history was made, and Suzi became Miss January 1992.
