Profile: This one Diva who doesn't beleive in keeping a low profile!
Born in Copenhagen, Denmark and raised in Switerland, by medical doctor parents, Valentina was discovered as a BABY, by the editor of a Danish fashion magazine, while with with her mother in a Copenhagen store. By the time she was two, Valentina had already been on no less than three magazine covers!
Unfortunately, when Valentina's mother moved them to Switzerland, modeling was suddenly a thing of the past. Living with her grandmother, Valentina was fluent in Swiss by age 8 and learned English from watching European television shows. Valentina returned to Denmark at age 10, but was soon transplanted to Point Barrow, Alaska as a result of her stepfather's communications job. This was certainly a much different environment then Valentina was accustomed to, basically a subzero dessert. While eventually fitting in with the natives, the Artic was lonely and not always safe.
At age 16, Valentina started getting back into the swing of things. She joined a band, learning to wrote music and record songs. Modeling remained close to her heart though and she entered many contests via mail, winning them all.
Upon turning 19, Valentina had all she could take of the Artic and decided to move on. She bought a onw way ticket to Santa Cruz, knowing only that it was a small town in California. Amazingly enough, she picked Santa Cruz only because she saw a man with a Santa Cruz logo on a shirt, while on vacation one time.
It was tough at first but with the help of some new friends Valentina was able to start her new adventure. Valentina joined another band and started recording demos. Valentina also started doing some bikini contests for Miller Lite, English Leather and American Dreamgirls, She also started her own jewelry line (Valentina Jewelry) , which became a success.
With things going well, Valentina decided to move to Monteray. During this time, Valentina had the misfortune of meeting some shady characters who took advantage of her. Becoming fed up with her situation, she took two weeks worth of clothes and went to L.A. In only a week, she landed a feature role in the movie Class Act. Valentina signed up with the first agency she visited, run by Irena Kamal. Valentina said Irene was like a mother and credits her confidence to her.
Things really picked up from there as Valentina became a Fredrick's Model and was shot for Playboy, Miller Lite and others. She has appeared in over 30 music vidoes , in addition to posters, billboards, and magazine covers. This hard working Diva proven that she can be successful in any environment and we are sure to be seeing and hearing a lot from her in the future.
